The internet may be getting more and more mobile thanks to a new generation of devices to access it, but what about relevant content for landscape architecture academics to access while they are in the field?
For some time it has been possible to GEO-REFERENCE much of the information in the various directory and resources databases, and this will increasingly come into its own when you are out and about with your mobile internet devices as it can, for example, help you to find people, projects and places of interest to landscape architects.
But for this to be possible there is a need for us all to continue to build the necessary content as well as to geo-reference existing information which has been entered previously. This can easily be done by going to the dataset in question and then clicking on ‘Edit’. Of course you can also add information which you may encounter to the web site while you are out and about...
