The latest issue of JoLA features two Thinking Eye articles, selected from a call on the theme of ‘Home ecologies’. The theme evoked multiple creative responses that explored how practitioners, educators and researchers were responding to the imposed confinement and mundanity of the Covid-19 pandemic, and speculated on alternative ways of inhabiting and designing cities. The selected Thinking Eye articles invite us to reclaim our bodies and to slow down in design; an invitation extended by other articles featured in this issue.
