For the teaching in the new Bachelor degree program “Freiraummanagement” as well as in the programs “Landscape Architecture” and “Landscaping and Green Space Management”, a personality is sought who will innovatively and future-oriented fully represent and develop the recent requirements of a sustainability-oriented and computer-aided open space management
You teach the methodology of the BIM as well as the handling of digital instruments with the focus on the optimization of the processes in the full life cycle of open spaces and of an all actors involving coordination-network. In this context, you impart structural approaches and ways of thinking to work with digital instruments as well as information and communication technologies.
You should also have knowledge regarding
• the recent developments for standardization of interfaces
• in construction,
• in current digital visualization techniques (virtual and augmented reality) as well as
• digitally supported design processes (Parametric Designing)
You should have relevant knowledge in the field of project development, in particular open space development from the city-wide level to the individual project and knowledge of management methods for the services sector of open spaces.
You are able and willing to develop the combination of Building Information Modeling, GIS-based Open Space Management and Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) applications as well as to develop new workflows and solutions.
Different teaching-formats are used in our department. Our teaching concept is based on cooperative work by several teachers. Studying in projects is an elementary component of all faculty programs. You are prepared to convey the above contents in different teaching formats, especially in the context of the project study. In this way, you promote innovative and interdisciplinary study and communication formats for multidisciplinary teaching and the dialogue between science and society. These include, in particular, the digital possibilities of networked
planning (BIM), which, if possible, involve several departments in student project work. A high degree of readiness for interdisciplinary cooperation is required.
The willingness to conduct the courses also in English and the active participation in the development of international cooperation relationships are expressly desired.
